Purpose: The purpose of the Club is to provide a forum for the exchange of information and knowledge among its members relating to personal computers and their uses, and to operate and program a computer facility for training and use of its members. Membership Requirements/Dues
Meeting Times/Locations: The Computer Club meets on the Fourth Wednesday of the month at 10:00 AM in the Village Center. Visit the club website at: www.sunflowerliving.com/computerclub Future Planned Activities/Facilities: A computer room with seven up-to-date computers (4 Windows XP, 2 Windows Vista, and one Apple OS-X) are maintained for club members. Members have the use of high-speed Internet connections on all six computers for e-mail or web surfing at incredible speeds! A Laser (Black and White) printer and a DeskJet (Color) printer is available for printing from all computers. Two scanners are also available to scan your favorite photos for sending to your family/friends back home, and Adobe Photo Elements 5.0 in installed on most computers. Various computer instruction and workshops will be offered to members throughout the year. Most General Membership Meetings include the opportunity for members to ask computer/software related questions and participate in the exchange of technical information.
