The purpose is to provide "open tennis" for all levels of play. We provide an opportunity to play at the scheduled times without making individual arrangements for a match.

There is no special membership required to participate in ladies’ tennis other than being a Sunflower resident. Sunflower does have a tennis club and we encourage all players to become a member of the club. Annual dues are $5.00 per year.

Ladies’ Tennis schedule: Tuesday and Thursday at 9 a.m. We usually change to a summer schedule in May and at that time we play at 7:30 a.m.

We run ladies’ doubles round robin January - March and anyone who would like to participate can contact ladies tennis. The tennis club has arranged for inter-club matches with Heritage Highlands and some of the ladies are participating.
