Five Hundred Card Club

Purpose
We are a group that enjoys a challenging game and friendship of our fellow players. Five hundred, card
game, similar in principle to Euchre, is played with a pack of 44 cards and a joker. The game was originally
created to provide more opportunity for skill than Euchre, but less concentration than Wist. This is a good
game for couples and single people alike.
Membership Requirements/Dues
Membership is open to all residents of Sunflower. We collect a fee of .25 cents each week to cover our jackpots for that week. We also ask for a small donation, once a year to cover the cost of printing our score sheets and the purchase of card. If you have never played the game before a time will be
set up to teach you before hand.
Meeting Times/Location
We meet in the Sombrero Peak Lounge (Library) at 9:00 AM Thursday morning.
