Purpose
The Sunflower Hiking Group promotes outdoor activity and socialization through hiking. Members experience captivating landscapes and natural wonders along Southern Arizona’s numerous trails.
Membership Requirements/Dues
The Sunflower Hiking Group is open to all Sunflower residents and their guests who are fit for hiking. We collect no dues. However, volunteer drivers are reimbursed for the use of their vehicles.
Meeting Times/Location
Hiking season is October to April on Tuesday and Friday. Planning meetings are in November and March. Information is through the Sun Catcher, the Communicator and members email.
